Popis projektu
- maintaining data within a warehouse environment supporting the delivery of quality data outputs
- administering, configuring, patching, upgrading, etc. - Relational SQL, Distributed SQL and NoSQL databases including, but not limited to MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MemSQL, CrateDB, MongoDB, Cassandra DB, Neo4j, AllegroGraph, ArangoDB, Cosmos DB, etc.
- maintaining a platform performing regular tasks such as user management and audit, resource utilization, alerts monitoring
- modifying existing ETL processes in order to achieve automation where possible and to accommodate changes in the data structure
- migrating databases from legacy systems to cloud data platforms
- working with an international team
- US hours overlap needed
Požadavky projektu
- at least bachelor's degree (IT field of study)
- 5 years of experience in DataOps Engineering or DBA
- English – good written and verbal for working with international teams on a daily basis
- mandatory technologies: Mongo DB and SQL (Relation) DB
- proven track record of success in at least some of the following areas:
- Python and experience with data extraction, data cleansing and data wrangling
- SQL and experience with relational databases
- codification of business rules (analytics) in one of the programming languages listed above
- data modeling, data mapping, data governance and the processes and technologies commonly used in this space
- data integration tools (e.g. Talend, SnapLogic, Informatica) and data warehousing / data lake tools
- API-based data acquisition and management
- nice to have:
- previous experience working in an Operations/SRE team
- knowledge or experience with Azure DevOps
- security: Encryption, Network security, Network topology
- experience with monitoring solutions via Datadog
