Project description
- technical setup and configuration of the DX platform
- integration of DX with GitLab, CI/CD, ticketing systems and identity/SSO
- integration of telemetry and usage data from AI tools, e.g. GitHub Copilot
- connection of Copilot Metrics API and other data sources
- design and implementation of data integrations
- setting up and validating identity and team mapping between AI tools and delivery systems
- configuration of teams, hierarchies and data model in DX
- modeling metrics for AI adoption, usage intensity, time savings, lead time and quality
- linking AI value metrics with cost/licensing data
- ensuring data availability, consistency, completeness and quality
- identifying, analyzing and correcting data errors
- implementing anonymization, aggregation and data minimization
- setting up role and permission model
- preparing data for baseline measurement before and after expanding AI usage
- preparing dashboards, evaluations and exports for results and ROI assessment
- technical support for evaluating the impact of AI on lead time, quality, change failure rate, review effort and rework
- technical documentation of data integrations and solutions
- estimating complexity and technical requirements for future scaling of the solution
Project requirements
- min. 5 years of experience with Data Engineering / BI and data integration in a DevOps or software development environment
- experience with:
- Data Engineering and data integrations
- GitLab
- CI/CD environments
- ticketing systems and data integration from development tools
- REST API / API integrations
- telemetry and usage data
- data modeling
- data quality, consistency and completeness
- anonymization, aggregation and data minimization
- identity/SSO integration and permission models
- dashboards, reporting and data exports
- ability to integrate data from multiple systems into a single data model
- ability to analyze and correct data inconsistencies and errors
- technical understanding of DevOps and software development processes
- ability to work with data related to AI adoption and developer productivity
- ability to technically prepare data for KPI, measurement framework and ROI analysis
- English at a communicative level (spoken and written)
- advantageous experience with:
- GitHub Copilot Metrics API or similar AI telemetry
- AI coding tools and coding agents
- DX / Developer Experience analytics platforms
- engineering productivity metrics
- DORA metrics
- BI tools and creating analytical dashboards
- AI value measurement
- cloud data platforms
