Project description

development and expansion of a mobile banking application with a focus on new functionalities, modernization of existing solutions, and quality UX
implementation of complex Android screens and components using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
refactoring of existing code with an emphasis on clean code, maintainability, and best practices
close cooperation with business analysts and UX/UI designers in the design and specification of new functionalities
ensuring quality through unit, integration, and UI tests
work in an Agile environment using Git Flow / branching strategy and CI/CD
tech stack / environment: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Dependency Injection, Unit/Integration/UI Testing, Git, TeamCity, Android Security, Agile
cooperation only on full-time, possible in hybrid mode REMOTE + ONSITE at least 1 day per week in Vienna (or by prior agreement with the client)
final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the selection process

Project requirements

min. 5 years of experience with Android development
advanced knowledge of Kotlin, especially Coroutines, Flow, and suspend functions
experience with:
- Jetpack Compose and creating complex UI screens
- refactoring existing Android codebase and clean code principles
- unit, integration, and UI testing
- CI/CD, ideally TeamCity
- working in an Agile team
good knowledge of Dependency Injection, Git/branching, and Android build tooling
knowledge of mobile security principles
active knowledge of English, both spoken and written (min. B2-C1)
advantageous experience with:
- banking / fintech applications
- large enterprise applications
- performance optimization of mobile applications
creativity and proactive approach
attention to detail
team player
