Project description
- collaboration with international teams of experts on technologically advanced projects that support key operations of a major European institution
- installation, configuration and management of applications in production and non-production environments
- application monitoring, performance optimization and service efficiency improvement
- application support and maintenance including incident, change and release processes
- creation and validation of documentation including manuals and data recovery plans
- automation of administrative processes and preparation of technical documentation
- maintenance and development of a knowledge database to support ICT operations
- reporting on application availability, performance and capacity
Project requirements
- at least 9 years of relevant experience if you have a university education at least at the level of a master's degree (or 10 years of experience with a bachelor's degree)
- more than 6 years of experience in a medium-sized or large IT infrastructure environment
- at least 5 years of experience in administering and supporting Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Linux operating systems
- at least 5 years of experience in application administration and support
- 4 years of experience with DevOps and deployment automation (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps, Python)
- 4 years of experience with Kubernetes (including cluster and application management)
- at least 2 years of experience with application configuration management tools (e.g. Puppet)
- knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, change and version management)
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification
- willingness to work partially onsite in The Hague (Netherlands)
- Travel time to The Hague within 1 to 2 hours maximum
- professional knowledge of English at level B2 and higher
- clean criminal record (certificate of good conduct not older than 3 months)
- Security clearance at EU Confidential level (no later than 15 weeks from the start of services)
- advantage:
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification
