Project description
- responsibility for maintenance, availability and support:
- application environments at the L2 level
- transaction system at the L3 level of the technical owner ( after training )
- administration, administration, configuration and optimization of application servers
- automation and execution of Operations & Maintenance tasks:
- Automated Build Forge Adapter Toolkit release, and release management for environments
- performance tuning
- configuration
- troubleshooting
- hot fixing environment
- user authority / account management (UAM) in the scope of design, administration and modification of roles and authorizations
- analysis of application and system logs
- monitoring applications in environments and supervising their operation
- identification, analysis, resolution and / or delegation of incidents and problems
- communication in English with members of the international (but mostly SK) team and internal customers
- long-term cooperation in the regime of quarterly / semi-annual renewal of orders
- cooperation in the mode:
- during introductory training (1-4 weeks): ON-SITE [Bratislava] / OFF-SITE combination by agreement (approximately 3 days / week ON-SITE [Bratislava] + 2 days / week OFF-SITE)
- after training: flexible ON-SITE mode [Bratislava] / OFF-SITE according to freelancer preferences (complete OFF-SITE possible)
Project requirements
- min. 3 years of experience as an Application (and / or System) Administrator
- experience with:
- application incident investigation and root cause analysis
- monitoring applications and / or infrastructure
- using logging tools and reading application logs
- hybrid-cloud infrastructure
- PaaS (Platform as a Servise) solutions
- advanced knowledge of at least one scripting language ( Bash , Python , ...)
- overview in communication protocols and network topologies
- advantage: knowledge of at least one programming language (ideally JAVA , Groovy and / or JavaScript )
- advantage of experience with:
- ticketing tools and incident / problem processing in them ( JIRA , HP SM, ...)
- application code analysis (ideally JAVA and / or Groovy )
- administration of Linux-based systems (ideally RedHat and / or CentOS )
- administration of JBoss application servers (in standalone and domain mode)
- H igh A vailability systems
- CI / CD tools (ideally Jenkins and Gitlab )
- agile way of software development
