Project description
- responsibility for building NextGen systems using IaC
- collaboration with product teams and developers who use modern software development methodologies (XP, TDD, trunk-based development)
- building and managing internal platforms that provide developers with a secure, scalable, and fully automated environment for development and deployment
- development of internal tools and components to improve developer experience and accelerate solution delivery
- implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD principles for fast, reliable, and secure application deployment
- participation in the design of secure cloud infrastructure
- reducing complexity for product teams by creating standardized and pre-approved tools for deployment, monitoring, and security
- collaboration in incident resolution with an emphasis on reliability, observability, and proactive system monitoring from the beginning of solution design
- collaboration is standardly conducted primarily in REMOTE mode or in a COMBINED REMOTE / ON-SITE [Bratislava] mode, according to the candidate's interest and preferences
Project requirements
- min. 5 years of experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management
- experience with:
- cloud engineering in Microsoft Azure (Azure Stack, Azure AD) and/or AWS
- scripting (Python, GO, Java...)
- IaC automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Terragrunt, Chef, Puppet)
- databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Ignite, Elasticsearch, MongoDB...)
- messaging and streaming tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS) and microservices operation
- DevSecOps and SRE areas
- setting up network components (DHCP, DNS, FW, VPN...)
- projects in regulated environments (bank, insurance company...)
- knowledge of:
- CI/CD pipeline processes including zero-downtime deployments and progressive rollouts (GitHub, GitHub Actions, Argo CD)
- cloud security and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- management of API Gateway solutions (REST API)
- agile methodologies and principles such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), trunk-based development, code review and collaborative development
- monitoring tools (Prometheus, BetterStack)
- advantageous experience with:
- software development in the past
- management of SQL and NoSQL databases
- AWS cloud
- willingness to learn new things
- proactivity and responsibility
- independent and creative thinking
