Project description
- responsibility for leading people and complex technical management of teams of specialists in a company focused on the development of B2B software-as-a-service with an extension to the field of telecommunications
- part of the company's top management
- close cooperation with the CEO and other C-Level managers
- direct management of 5-7 managers responsible for individual teams of IT specialists - development, QA, internal development, infrastructure, ...
- defining product visions and strategies
- supervision of infrastructure management and development (including operation of private cloud, hypervisors, HW resources, ensuring high availability and security of systems)
- preparation, implementation and control of financial plans for operating costs and technological investments
- long-term cooperation in an agile environment
- highly-motivated reward system
- cooperation possible in combined ON-SITE (Prague) and REMOTE mode (approx. 60:40)
Project requirements
- min. 5 years of active experience in leading a programming team
- advanced experience with:
- SW development (knowledge of SDLC and its practical applications)
- by programming (ideally web) applications
- infrastructure management and/or private cloud operation , hypervisors, HW resources...
- financial planning in the field of IT
- excellent communication skills in Slovak and/or Czech and English (verbal and written)
- advantage of experience with:
- programming in PHP and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
- ensuring high availability and security of systems
- with Microtic products
- Proxmox Virtual Environment
- one of the agile methods of software development ( SCRUM , LEAN and/or KANBAN)
- using project-tracking tools ( JIRA , Confluence)
- communicativeness
- the joy of working with people and the ability to motivate them
- methodical and logical approach to solving problems
