Project description
- innovative development of a modern cloud data platform built on the LakeHouse concept for key ESG and CSRD reporting purposes
- collaboration in an agile team on transforming quarterly reporting to a monthly cycle and designing processes for managing datapoints in business as usual (BAU)
- integration of new business requirements, analysis of data sources, design of data models and transformations in the AWS infrastructure
- analysis of existing data collection, processing, and reporting processes across the company with the aim of designing the target way of fulfilling new datapoints
- detailed collaboration with business owners in defining requirements, designing, and subsequently validating new ESG datapoints
- design and implementation of data pipelines in the data warehouse environment and integration of new data sources into the data platform
- setting up validation checks, defining test scenarios, and active support of user and integration testing of the resulting data
- checking the formal aspects of individual datapoints, including their documentation, definitions, responsibilities, and connection to reporting requirements
- implementation of solutions in the areas of financial KPIs for EU Taxonomy, Green Bonds, evaluation of Net Zero, Safety data, and Scope 3
- design and implementation of new managerial reports in Power BI intended to support decision-making of senior management
- coordination and close cooperation with architects, data administrators, BI specialists, and end business users
- hybrid form of cooperation with effective combination of onsite and remote work as agreed with the team
Project requirements
- advanced experience with:
- SQL and complex data model design
- analysis of complex business processes and their translation into data and technological solutions
- gathering and analyzing requirements from business users and active communication with stakeholders
- experience with:
- at least 5 years in data warehousing, data analytics, or Business Intelligence
- Python for data processing, transformation, and automation
- design and implementation of ETL / ELT processes
- independent work, taking responsibility for the assigned area from analysis to handover to operations
- advantageous:
- cloud technologies AWS, especially AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS S3, and orchestration via Apache Airflow or similar tools
- ESG, CSRD, regulatory reporting, or sustainability in general
- Metadata Driven Development (MDD) principles
- design and development of enterprise data platforms
- Power BI visualization tool or other modern BI platforms
- data governance, data catalog, and data element management
- experience in the utilities, energy, infrastructure, or other regulated sectors
- leading workshops and facilitating analytical meetings with business owners
