Project description

design, implementation and automation of data flows (ETL/ELT), monitoring their operation and performance optimization in the telecommunications sector
utilization of modern AI tools to accelerate development and automate data solutions
analysis of business and technical requirements and design of end-to-end data solutions (datasets, BI reports, APIs, visualizations)
cooperation with data architects, analysts, Data Science teams and external suppliers in the design of data models and infrastructure
design and implementation of data integrations including APIs and processing data from various sources
responsibility for data quality, technical documentation and adherence to security standards when working with sensitive data
coordination of technical implementation of projects from analysis through development, testing to production deployment and post-deployment support
monitoring the performance of data solutions, resolving incidents and meeting defined KPIs
consultations with stakeholders, proposals for improving data processes and active participation in the development of the data platform
work in Agile and Waterfall environments including project evaluation and preparation of recommendations for further development
cooperation possible in a hybrid ON-SITE / REMOTE mode, preferably min. 2-3 days per week on-site [Bratislava], the rest remote
final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the course of the selection process

Project requirements

min. 3-year demonstrable experience in data engineering, ideally in IT, telco or finance
experience with the use of AI tools in development and/or automation of data solutions (e.g., agent AI, MCP, AI assistants for development, ...)
advanced knowledge:
- SQL, relational DB (Oracle, PL/SQL advantage)
- ETL/ELT and data integrations (API, data flows)
- DWH principles and design of scalable infrastructure
experience with:
- programming language Python (at least intermediate-advanced level)
- BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau)
- tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS 365)
knowledge of project methodologies (Agile/ Waterfall)
advantageous:
- cloud/on-prem data infrastructure
- batch & streaming data processing
- Unix, scripting
- CI/CD
active knowledge of the English language spoken and written (min. B2)
2nd level university degree
