Project description
- Working in a multicultural and international environment for a leading global logistics company, which provides top-notch services and innovations in the field of transportation and logistics
- Platform development so that it predicts the customer's willingness to pay in real time and immediately proposes the first offer and "Dynamic Discounting"
- Design and implementation of data pipelines in the Snowflake environment
- Development of ETL/ELT processes using Matillion (or Azure Data Factory)
- Transformation and preparation of data to support ML models and BI analytics
- Design of dimensional models for data warehouses (star, snowflake schema)
- Development of Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, and support of data flows
- Collaboration with a team of BI analysts and data scientists
- Creation of interactive applications and dashboards using Streamlit and Power BI
- Ensuring data quality, performance, and security in the Azure environment
Project requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in data engineering
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and scripting
- Minimum 1 year of commercial experience with the Matillion tool (or alternatively Azure Data Factory)
- Advanced knowledge of Python for data processing
- Basic understanding of dimensional modeling concepts (star schema, SCD)
- Experience with BI tools, especially Power BI
- Knowledge of Azure cloud environment and its data integration services
- Advanced knowledge of English, both spoken and written (min. level B2 and higher)
- Advantage:
- Experience with creating applications in Streamlit and with ML projects
