Project description
- Development of a scalable UI library, which is used in internal and customer applications around the world
- Support for developers, designers, and content editors through the development of consistent, accessible, and reusable components based on design system principles
- Development of Web Components using Stencil.js, ensuring their compatibility with React, Vue and Angular
- Working in a monorepo architecture managed using Lerna, in combination with tools such as Storybook, Docusaurus, Jest and Puppeteer
- Communication with the teams that use the DUIL – support for adoption, facilitation of AMA sessions, sharing release notes, and leading discussions
- Emphasis on testability, documentation, and development in TypeScript with an emphasis on quality and scalability
- Collaboration in a fully remote mode within the EU, long-term project
Project requirements
- Advanced experience with:
- Web Components development using Stencil.js or similar tools
- JavaScript/TypeScript and component development in the React, Vue or Angular framework
- Experience with:
- Monorepo environment (e.g. Lerna, Nx)
- Component testing using Jest, Puppeteer or similar tools
- Creating and managing documentation (e.g. Docusaurus, Storybook)
- Design systems (e.g. Material UI, Ant Design), working with Figma (Dev Mode), extracting design tokens
- Knowledge of:
- Accessibility principles (WCAG, ARIA) and testing with a screen reader
- Agile development (Scrum – standups, sprints, retrospectives)
- CI/CD environment (e.g. Azure DevOps)
- English at least at B2 level, daily communication in a global team
- Advantage:
- Experience with documentation development using static site generators
- Awareness of the cloud environment, ideally Azure
