Project description
- cooperation in full-stack (primarily front-end) development of innovative core banking applications in ReactJS and JAVA (Spring Boot 3, Hibernate) for the banking sector
- participation in the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of systems
- close cooperation with ICT and business analysts
- participation in CI/CD processes including code reviews
- perspective of long-term cooperation in an agile team (SCRUM / SAFe)
- cooperation possible in a combined ON-SITE (Bratislava) / REMOTE mode (approx. 1:4 - depending on the freelancer's preferences and project needs)
Project requirements
- min. 3 years of active experience in front-end application programming (ideally in ReactJS)
- min. 2 years of active experience in back-end application programming in JAVA
- excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming principles (OOP)
- advanced experience with:
- TypeScript and/or JavaScript
- Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (ideally J2EE 11+)
- experience with:
- React Hooks
- React component libraries (MaterialUI)
- SQL databases (PostgreSQL)
- Spring framework (Spring Boot) and Hibernate
- automated build tools (Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, ...)
- repository systems (GitHub, Bitbucket...)
- HTTP client Axios
- testing tools and frameworks (Jest, RTL, Karma, Cypress.io, Playwright, ...)
- conversational English language skills (spoken and written)
- experience with the following is a big advantage:
- microservices (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Enterprise messaging systems (KafkaMQ, JMS, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ...)
- IdP (KeyCloak)
- experience with the following is an advantage:
- cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, ...)
- any of the agile software development methodologies (SCRUM, LEAN and/or KANBAN)
- using project-tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Quarkus framework
- application security (AuthN, AuthZ, OAuth2 flows...)
- working in a banking environment
- performing effective code reviews and adhering to coding standards
- independent, responsible and proactive approach
