Project description
- creating infrastructure designs and technical solutions
- validation and testing of infrastructure designs in a test environment
- implementation of the designed infrastructure into the production environment
- support and maintenance of the infrastructure after its implementation
- management and maintenance of operating systems (Windows Client/Server)
- working with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, vCenter, Horizon View)
- management and optimization of network elements (Cisco Nexus, LAN, WAN, wireless infrastructure)
- database management and administration (Microsoft SQL, Oracle DB, MongoDB)
- ensuring infrastructure compliance with security standards and requirements
- cooperation with IT teams to implement new systems and technologies
- documentation of technical solutions and creation of user manuals
- ensuring continuous operation and infrastructure availability
- onsite work in The Hague (Netherlands)
Project requirements
- at least 7 years of experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure
- security clearance at the level required to work in security agencies
- advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems (Client/Server side)
- knowledge and experience with VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere, vCenter, Horizon View)
- knowledge of network technologies and protocols (Cisco LAN, WAN, wireless networks)
- knowledge of databases (Microsoft SQL, Oracle DB, MongoDB)
- ability to work in accordance with ITIL, PRINCE2 or PMP methodologies
- experience with agile approaches (Agile, Scaled Agile Framework)
- English at a professional level suitable for an international environment
- ability to work in a team and independently
- analytical thinking and the ability to solve technical problems
- willingness to work onsite in the Hague location
