Project description
- administration, maintenance, and optimization of a large and highly secure server infrastructure for a significant player in the financial sector
- ensuring the stable operation of internal systems with an emphasis on ITIL management processes, high availability, adherence to security standards, and smooth incident resolution across the IT environment
- deployment and configuration of Windows Server systems, advanced automation of routine tasks using PowerShell, administration of Active Directory and the virtualized VMware environment, including basic administrator tasks for SQL Server databases
- management and administration of certificates, monitoring system logs and anomalies via Dynatrace or Nagios, and overall ticket management in the ServiceNow tool
- cooperation in the mode of 2-3 days onsite in Prague and the rest remote
Project requirements
- advanced experience with:
- at least 3 years of experience with the administration and deployment of Windows Server (2019/2022) in a medium to large enterprise environment
- advanced scripting, automation, and configuration management in PowerShell
- advanced knowledge of:
- comprehensive administration of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- English language at a minimum level of B2 (fluent communication in speech and writing)
- experience with:
- server environment virtualization using VMware and basic knowledge of storage technologies (SAN / NAS)
- routine tasks of a database administrator for SQL Server such as backups, recovery, patching, and basic performance monitoring
- IT service management and change or incident management strictly according to ITIL methodology
- knowledge of:
- monitoring systems such as Dynatrace or Nagios and ticket queues in ServiceNow
- basic network concepts including TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, and firewalls
- advantageous:
- administration and support of the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops virtual environment and related components (StoreFront, Gateways)
- administration of the Axway Transfer CFT file transfer management tool
- experience with cross-platform automation using scripting in Python or Bash
