implementation of API journeys on the Quickwork platform according to the migration specification
migration of an existing MuleSoft API solution to Quickwork
implementation of REST API according to OpenAPI 3.0 specification
integration of external REST APIs including authentication, JSON response parsing, error handling, and timeouts
implementation of token-based authentication, especially OAuth2, JWT, or API keys
development of JavaScript logic for processing JSON payloads, field mapping, array operations, and conditional logic
development and debugging of Node.js functions in Quickwork
implementation of the Gateway Token validation pattern
implementation of complete error handling including backend timeouts, HTTP 4xx/5xx, invalid payloads
creation of Unit and Integration tests for individual journeys
comparison of Quickwork outputs against the original MuleSoft solution and ensuring functional parity
identification and resolution of edge cases according to API documentation
code review and peer review of implemented journeys
collaboration with the Technical Lead and Quickwork SME
support for QA/Test Engineer during integration testing and fixing defects within the sprint
support for UAT and regression testing
monitoring Quickwork journey logs after production deployment
continuous documentation of purpose, inputs, outputs, error behavior, and data transformations of individual journeys
collaboration takes place in a 100% REMOTE mode

Project requirements

min. 3 years of project experience with integration development on a modern integration platform
ability to:
- read and implement OpenAPI 3.0 specifications
- work with request/response schemas, error responses, and authentication schemes
- implement APIs with complete error handling
- verify functional parity between the original and migrated API
- create technical documentation during implementation
- clearly communicate technical problems and escalate blockers in a timely manner
experience with:
- MuleSoft Anypoint, Workato, Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, Zapier Enterprise, Quickwork, or a comparable integration platform
- development of production integration solutions
- REST API
- OpenAPI 3.0
- integration of external REST APIs
- JSON payloads and data transformation
- OAuth2, JWT, or API key authentication
- JavaScript
