Project description
- the project focuses on integration and end-to-end testing of complex TELCO systems, particularly in the area of BSS/OSS, system interfaces, APIs, and asynchronous communication between applications
- experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks and TIBCO EMS, which are used in enterprise integrations and messaging, is a significant advantage
- integration testing of complex IT systems in a telecommunications environment
- testing communication between BSS/OSS systems, CRM, order, activation, and billing platforms
- design, preparation, and execution of integration and end-to-end (E2E) tests
- testing of integration interfaces and web services
- testing of REST APIs and SOAP Web Services
- verification of the correctness of requests, responses, data structures, and integration contracts
- preparation of positive, negative, and error test scenarios
- testing of synchronous and asynchronous communication between systems
- verification of message processing, request correlation, timeouts, and retry mechanisms
- checking data transformations and mappings between systems
- working with XML and JSON data formats
- validation of SOAP interfaces using WSDL/XSD
- testing of TELCO processes from order creation to service activation and billing
- preparation and management of test data
- verification of data and states in databases using SQL
- analysis of application and integration logs
- tracking requests across multiple systems through message identifiers
- identification of integration problem causes and design of reproducible test scenarios
- recording, documentation, and retesting of defects
- cooperation with developers, integration specialists, analysts, and other testers
- support for system, integration, and acceptance testing
- cooperation in stabilizing and improving the quality of integration solutions
- support for the automation of API and integration tests according to the technology stack used
- cooperation 75% ON-SITE Bratislava mode (HOME OFFICE 5 days / month)
Project requirements
- min. 3 years of demonstrable practical experience with integration testing in a TELCO environment
- experience in testing communication between multiple enterprise systems
- good knowledge of BSS/OSS processes
- familiarity with processes such as:
- Order Management
- Service Activation / Provisioning
- Service Inventory
- Billing
- Customer Management / CRM
- practical experience in testing APIs and web services
- experience with REST API and/or SOAP Web Services depending on the interface type
- practical knowledge of at least one of the tools:
- Postman
- SoapUI
- ReadyAPI
- ability to independently prepare API requests, verify responses, and test error scenarios
- knowledge of XML and JSON
- ability to control data structures, mandatory fields, and data mappings
- familiarity with WSDL/XSD for SOAP integrations
- understanding of the principles of asynchronous integrations and messaging
- knowledge of principles:
- Message Queues
- Correlation ID
- Retry Mechanisms
- Timeouts
- Duplicate Message Processing
- Delayed Responses
- practical knowledge of SQL
- experience with:
- analysis of application or integration logs
- design and execution of integration and E2E test scenarios
- documentation of test results and defects
- ability to:
- prepare test data and verify data consistency between systems
- identify the root cause of integration errors
- independently communicate technical issues with the development and integration team
- active knowledge of Slovak and English languages (written and spoken)
- a big advantage:
- practical experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks
- experience with:
- TIBCO EMS
- scripting in Java, Python, or Groovy
- queues, topics, message headers, and correlation ID
- automation of API and integration tests
- Linux environment
- analysis of logs in Splunk / Kibana / Elasticsearch
- CI/CD
- performance testing of integration interfaces
- testing of complex TELCO transformation or migration projects
- fixed or mobile telecommunication services
- processes for activating internet, television, or mobile services
- knowledge of:
- JMS / Java Messaging Service
- WireMock / SoapUI Mock Services
- TM Forum Open APIs
- Git
- Jenkins or GitLab CI
- JMeter / LoadRunner
- ability to analyze integration processes and data transformations in TIBCO
- knowledge of one of the tools:
- REST Assured
- Karate
- ReadyAPI Test Automation
- pytest
- familiarity with TM Forum eTOM / SID
- very good organizational and communication skills
- ability to effectively solve problems under pressure
