Project description

demanding and complex data migration of a key compliance system to a new group solution within an international banking group environment
analysis of differences in business logic, mapping of data models, design of transformation rules, and resolution of data quality issues using SQL and ETL / ELT processes
preparation of migration and validation scenarios, creation of source-to-target mappings, gap and impact analysis, and coordination across IT and business teams
cooperation takes place in a 3-day onsite (Prague 5) and 2-day remote mode

Project requirements

advanced experience with:
- at least 5 years of experience as an IT or Data Analyst with a focus on data migrations
- creating source-to-target mappings, data models, and ER diagrams
- advanced querying and analysis in SQL
experience with:
- designing and debugging ETL / ELT processes
- data quality checks and cleansing processes
- performing gap and impact analysis
advantageous:
- domain knowledge of compliance, banking, or insurance environments
- experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- knowledge of Enterprise Architect
- familiarity with data warehouses and data platforms
