taking end-to-end responsibility for IT projects in Logistics and Warehouse
coordination of multiple smaller teams and ensuring communication and reporting towards key stakeholders and C-level management
- a key requirement is demonstrable prior experience in managing IT projects in Logistics / Warehouse / WMS
cooperation on international IT projects for a significant customer in the e-commerce / online pharmacy sector
- projects are primarily focused on Logistics, Warehouse, Supply Chain and related IT solutions
- the customer operates in the German and Belgian markets
- the environment includes enterprise systems supporting e-commerce, financial, logistics and operational processes
the customer's IT environment also includes Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
leading multiple smaller teams and project/workstream activities
high degree of independence and end-to-end ownership
tasks and responsibilities:
- end-to-end IT project management in Logistics and Warehouse
- taking responsibility for the project from planning to successful delivery
- leading and coordinating multiple smaller project and technical teams
- coordination of multiple parallel workstreams
- defining project scope, goals, priorities, milestones, and delivery plan
- planning and coordinating project activities
- managing the project schedule and tracking the achievement of individual milestones
- coordinating dependencies between teams and individual parts of the solution
- ensuring effective collaboration between IT, business, and other stakeholders
- identifying and managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers
- preparation and implementation of mitigation plans
- resolving and escalating critical project issues
- coordinating priorities and available capacities of individual teams
- monitoring quality and overall delivery progress
- regular status reporting to the main person responsible for the project
- preparation and presentation of project status, risks, and key decisions to C-level management
- stakeholder management and ensuring transparent communication
- supporting decision-making in prioritizing project topics
- participation in project and management meetings
- active participation in face-to-face meetings with the customer in Germany and Belgium
cooperation possible in a completely REMOTE mode (within European time zone)
onboarding and business trips to Germany and Belgium
final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the selection process

Project requirements

min. 4-year active experience in the position:
- IT Delivery Manager
- Senior IT Project Manager
- Delivery Lead
- Program Manager
- or similar senior IT delivery position
demonstrable experience with IT projects in Logistics / Warehouse / WMS
practical knowledge of logistics and warehouse processes and systems that support them
experience with:
- end-to-end IT project management
- leading and coordinating multiple teams or workstreams
- managing complex project dependencies
- defining and managing scope, schedule, priorities, and milestones
- risk & issue management
ability to independently resolve escalations and critical project situations
stakeholder management experience
ability to effectively bridge business and IT environments
management reporting experience
ability to communicate and present project topics at the senior / C-level management
experience working in an international and distributed environment
high degree of independence, ownership, and results orientation
active knowledge of the English language at a professional level, spoken and written (min. B2+)
domain knowledge:
- demonstrable experience with IT projects in at least one of the key areas:
  - Logistics
  - Warehouse / Warehousing
  - Warehouse Management / WMS
  - Supply Chain
  - Fulfilment / Order Fulfilment
  - Inventory / Stock Management
  - Distribution
  - Logistics Operations
a big advantage:

  - Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
