Project description
- managing an extensive enterprise program built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, Project Operations, and Sales, complemented by SharePoint, Power BI, and Fabric
- involvement in a program for a client from the real estate development sector, which is replacing the existing ERP and building a new solution with Dynamics 365 F&O as the ERP core
- taking over customer-side project management after an initial audit of the current state, with the goal of stabilizing further delivery progress and establishing functional cooperation with the system integrator
- managing the system integrator against the agreed scope, schedule, and budget, and consistently enforcing their delivery responsibility
- setting up and maintaining project governance, including RACI, change control, requirements traceability, and clear division of responsibilities
- critically evaluating supplier proposals, providing factual pushback in case of non-compliance with the agreed scope, and protecting the customer from unwarranted shifting of solution design responsibility
- managing acceptance, including acceptance criteria, and coordinating UAT, migration, integrations, cutover, and subsequent go-live
- managing and escalating project risks to the customer's management based on concrete and verifiable information
- ensuring the readiness of individual implementation phases and verifying that the build will not commence on a faulty or unapproved design
- full-time cooperation with a planned go-live approximately in June 2028, in the first months in the mode of approximately 4 days onsite in Prague per week, and subsequently with the possibility of a larger remote share as agreed
Project requirements
- Required experience and knowledge:
- proven experience in managing the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Project Operations, and Sales from the customer's side or as an independent Project Manager
- experience in managing an extensive enterprise program across multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, with an emphasis on F&O as the ERP core
- experience with the entire ERP/CRM implementation lifecycle, from analysis and design through build and testing to cutover, go-live, and stabilization
- hands-on experience with RACI, change control, requirements traceability, acceptance criteria, and vendor management
- ability to represent the customer towards the system integrator, assertively enforce agreed-upon responsibilities, and escalate project risks
- ability to clearly distinguish responsibility for delivery management from responsibility for solution design, which remains with the integrator
- Czech language at a negotiation level
- possibility of full-time cooperation and, in the first months, approximately 4 days onsite in Prague per week
- experience with crisis or recovery management of an implementation project
- experience with coordinating UAT, migration, integration, cutover, and go-live
- ability to quickly orient oneself in an already ongoing program and to react flexibly to emerging project problems
- Advantageous:
- knowledge of Microsoft's Success by Design or Sure Step implementation methodologies for enterprise F&O implementations
- experience with migration or integration between Business Central and F&O, including data migration, coexistence, or cutover
- hands-on knowledge of Project Operations in the environment of development or construction projects
- hands-on knowledge of Sales or Dataverse
- overlap with SharePoint, Power BI, or Fabric
- experience from the real estate or development sector
- experience with turnaround management of a troubled project
