support for the internal team in the area of Vulnerability Management and IT Asset Management in an international banking environment
collaboration on increasing the level of cybersecurity through effective processing of security vulnerabilities and IT asset management
acting as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and technical systems
working with processes focused on registration, tracking, and resolving security findings in the ServiceNow environment
supporting data quality and consistency in IT asset and inventory databases
identifying optimization opportunities for processes and elimination of manual tasks through automation
design and implementation of simple automation solutions using Python and prospectively utilizing AI/Agentic AI technologies
collaboration with internal stakeholders in resolving customer requests and increasing process transparency
emphasis on quality documentation of processes, standardization of procedures, and continuous improvement of work methods
main responsibilities:
- analysis and processing of vulnerability security reports
- assignment of identified vulnerabilities to responsible resolvers and coordination of their remediation
- registration, management, and tracking of tickets in the ServiceNow environment
- communication with clients and internal teams in resolving vulnerability-related issues
- ensuring transparency and traceability of the entire ticket lifecycle
- management, quality control, and updating of IT asset and inventory databases
- identification of inconsistencies, missing data, and proposals for their removal
- support for process optimization in Vulnerability Management and Asset Management
- development of simple Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks
- support for the implementation of automation solutions and AI tools to increase efficiency
- creation of process documentation, work procedures, and improvement proposals

cooperation is possible only on a part-time basis, with 10-15 hours per week (2-3x morning/forenoon) in a fully REMOTE mode + sporadic ad-hoc ON-SITE [ Vienna, Austria ]
the final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the progress of the selection process

Project requirements

min. 2-3 years of project experience in a role focused on Vulnerability Management, IT Asset Management, IT Operations, Security Operations or a similar technical role in an enterprise environment
demonstrable experience with:
- analysis and processing of vulnerability reports
- ticket management in ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool
- IT asset and inventory data management and quality control
- communication with clients and internal stakeholders
- process optimization and elimination of manual tasks
- creation of simple automation scripts in Python
good knowledge of working with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (data analysis, filtering, pivot tables, formulas)
experience with the following is an advantage:
- automation platforms and/or the use of AI/Agentic AI for process automation
active knowledge of German at an advanced level (min. C1)
active knowledge of English (min. B2)
high level of independence and reliability
consistency, precision, and data quality orientation
analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
proactive approach to process optimization
excellent communication skills
ability to organize work effectively and work in a team
