Project description
- Development and maintenance of solutions in Java technology within a project focused on legacy system migration
- Active participation in the technical implementation of migration and modernization of the existing solution
- Development and modification of components ensuring orchestration, processing, transformation, and conversion of files/data
- Design, development, and integration of solutions using Apache NiFi
- Design, implementation, and integration of APIs and related integration services
- Work with open-source technologies used within the integration and migration solution
- Deployment and operation of applications and services in a Kubernetes environment
- Work with the AWS cloud environment and services
- Participation in the development and migration of solutions in the payments / banking area
- Work with DOKA technology / system
- Diagnosis and resolution of technical problems arising during migration and subsequent system operation
- Close cooperation with the development and project team, active communication and coordination of technical tasks
- Cooperation is possible in REMOTE mode + occasional ad-hoc onsite (Vienna, Austria) if needed
- Final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the selection process
Project requirements
- Senior and active experience in Java development
- Advanced experience with:
- Development of applications and services in Java
- Apache NiFi
- Design, development, and integration of APIs
- Open-source technologies
- Migration and modernization of legacy systems
- Orchestration, processing, transformation, and conversion of files/data
- Kubernetes
- Cloud services and environment AWS or Azure
- DOKA technology / system
- Ability to hands-on participate in system development and migration, not just in a consulting or analytical capacity
- Active knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
- Advantageous:
- Active knowledge of the German language
- Experience with projects or systems in the payments / banking area
- Very good communication skills
- Ability to cooperate effectively within a team
- Independence and responsibility in solving technical tasks
- Analytical and technical thinking
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
