Project description

  • design of the AI Software Factory methodology based on Spec Driven Development
  • collaboration on AI-driven refactoring of an existing application into Java technologies
  • creation and review of technical specifications for a new system
  • code review of Java Spring Boot and React solutions with an emphasis on quality and best practices
  • validation of automatically generated AI code and proposal of recommendations for its improvement
  • review of test scenarios from the perspective of coverage, quality, and correctness
  • development of internal know-how in the area of OpenSpec, SpecKit, and Spec Driven Development
  • design and implementation of AI workflows for the software development lifecycle
  • collaboration with original developers in understanding the legacy application
  • design of a repeatable end-to-end process from specification to production deployment
  • collaboration on integrating solutions into the OpenShift environment
  • participation in the creation of internal AI skills, standards, and methodologies for future projects
  • collaboration takes place in a 100% ONSITE mode utilizing 40% FTE (2 days per week)

Project requirements

  • min. 8 years of project experience in Java enterprise development and software architecture
     
  • experience with:
    • Java Spring Boot
    • React
    • code review and technical leadership
    • design of technical specifications
    • Spec Driven Development or similar approach to software design
    • AI-assisted development or agentic coding
    • OpenShift
    • design of enterprise architecture
    • modern SDLC processes
       
  • active knowledge of the German language at a professional level (min. C1-C2)
     
  • advantageous experience with:
    • OpenSpec or SpecKit
    • AI Software Factory concepts
    • LLM tools (Claude Code, Gemini, etc.)
    • AI code review and AI-generated testing
    • platform engineering
       
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work across multiple teams
