Project description
- Development and expansion of an extensive digital CRM platform for one of the largest financial institutions on the market, which helps millions of clients daily
- Design and implementation of robust backend solutions, creation of reliable microservices, and solving complex integration challenges in an agile environment
- Utilization of a modern technology stack including Kotlin, Java frameworks, Kafka, MS Azure cloud environment, and the OpenShift platform
- Responsibility for the complete development lifecycle from architectural design and cloud solutions, through writing documentation, to the actual implementation
- Active participation in infrastructure automation and utilization of modern DevOps principles
- Application of an independent and proactive approach in solving daily challenges
- Collaboration in a 3 days onsite in Prague and 2 days remote mode
Project requirements
- Advanced experience with:
- backend development in Kotlin and knowledge of standard Java frameworks (ideally at least 5 years)
- proven design and development of microservices, primarily REST API and OpenAPI
- Advanced knowledge of:
- messaging architectures and technologies, with a strong emphasis on Kafka
- Experience with:
- MS Azure cloud environment, which is very important for this role
- Git version control tool, which is an absolute necessity for this project
- containerization and the OpenShift platform
- DevOps principles and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitOps
- Infrastructure as Code (knowledge of AWS or Azure automation is a plus)
- Knowledge of:
- Czech or Slovak language at a communicative level (English is not necessary)
- Advantage:
- working with in-memory data grids and caching technologies like Hazelcast or Redis
