Project description
- analysis of the current Microsoft Purview setup, identification of weaknesses, and proposal of measures to enhance sensitive data protection
- strengthening information security in a regulated banking environment, focusing on data leak prevention and secure use of AI tools
- design, configuration, and optimization of DLP policies across the Microsoft 365 environment, particularly Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams
- setting up detection rules, alerts, blocks, user recommendations, and managed exceptions using Sensitive Information Types, Trainable Classifiers, and Sensitivity Labels
- testing DLP policies in audit and simulation modes, evaluating results, and implementing verified changes into the production environment
- analysis of DLP incidents, optimization of detection rules, and minimization of false positive findings
- design and implementation of monitoring for generative AI usage, including protection of sensitive data when working with Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and other services supported by Microsoft Purview
- preparation of technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer to the internal team in cooperation with SOC, Microsoft 365 administrators, and data owners
- external collaboration on a 0.5 FTE basis for 6 months with 50% onsite in Prague and 50% remote
Project requirements
- required experience and knowledge:
- minimum of 2 years of practical experience with Microsoft Purview
- demonstrable experience with implementing and operating Microsoft Purview DLP
- practical knowledge of Microsoft Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, and Sensitive Information Types
- practical knowledge of Insider Risk Management and Data Lifecycle Management
- experience in designing, configuring, testing, and optimizing DLP policies in a production environment
- experience with Microsoft 365, particularly Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams
- practical knowledge of designing and setting up monitoring of generative AI through Microsoft Purview, including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and other supported services
- ability to independently analyze security requirements and design appropriate technical measures
- excellent communication and documentation skills
- advantageous:
- experience with Endpoint DLP
- knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
- experience with automation using PowerShell
- knowledge of Microsoft Graph API
- experience with Microsoft Security Copilot
- previous experience with data protection in banking or other regulated environments
- knowledge of regulatory and security requirements GDPR, DORA, NIS2, and ISO 27001
