Project description
- conversion of network-connected devices from non-GMP to GMP mode and connection of suitable standalone devices to the OT network
- support of the project in the environment of a global pharmaceutical company with an emphasis on controlled connectivity, documentation, IT risks, and qualification requirements
- cooperation across IT, OT, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams, suppliers, and local stakeholders in an international environment
- configuration of OT PCs, industrial workstations, endpoint infrastructure, and managed switches and solving related connectivity
- support for configuration and validation of VLAN, firewall rules, and OT network connectivity
- preparation and updating of technical documentation including topology diagrams and as-built documentation
- processing and technical support of IT risk assessments, related mitigation actions, and documentation required for qualification
- preparation and updating of outputs such as IT, functional and design specifications, IT operating manuals, user lists, audit trails, interface agreements, and documentation for data integrity and security tests
- troubleshooting of problems at the network, endpoint, system, and infrastructure levels and support for installation, testing, and handover of solutions
- cooperation in hybrid mode, approximately 2 days onsite per week in a location about 20 km from Prague, with the remaining part remote, with the scope of onsite work changing according to the project phase
Project requirements
- necessary experience and knowledge:
- practical experience with OT networks, IT/OT infrastructure or industrial connectivity projects
- practical experience with managed switches, VLAN, firewall concepts and endpoint connectivity
- experience with industrial PCs, production workstations or OT infrastructure components
- ability to read, interpret and update network topology diagrams
- knowledge of cybersecurity requirements in OT environments
- experience with controlled access, system hardening and technical documentation in a corporate environment
- ability to troubleshoot across network, endpoint and infrastructure layers
- ability to independently solve technical tasks and coordinate their implementation with IT, OT, cybersecurity, infrastructure teams and suppliers
- other relevant experience with:
- IT risk assessments, access management and monitoring of technical mitigation actions
- OS baseline setup, hardening, patching, antivirus, backup or monitoring requirements for OT systems
- installation, connectivity testing, commissioning, qualification or handover activities
- qualification/validation documentation in a regulated environment
- Advantageous:
- experience from pharma or other regulated environment
- knowledge of GMP or GxP and related validation and documentation requirements
- experience from a large international organization with central IT, cybersecurity and infrastructure standards
