Project description

taking responsibility for the technical design of solutions, from data integration through data modeling to deployment in Power BI Service
designing advanced data models, including table structures, relationships, and the logic required for correct data evaluation
creating and modifying advanced calculations and business logic using DAX
preparing, cleaning, transforming, and merging data using Power Query
working with SQL and integrating data from various sources into the resulting Power BI solution
analyzing the performance of data models, calculations, and reports
identifying the causes of slow loading, incorrect behavior, or non-functional data refreshes
designing and implementing modifications aimed at increasing solution performance and stability
managing solutions in Power BI Service, including security, access, and deployment
resolving technical issues across data models, data integrations, and solution operations

Project requirements

advanced experience with:
- designing complex data models in Power BI
- creating complex calculations and business logic in DAX
- analyzing and optimizing the performance of Power BI solutions
- troubleshooting technical issues in data models, calculations, or data refreshes
experience with:
- loading, cleaning, transforming, and merging data using Power Query
- writing queries and working with data in SQL
- integrating multiple data sources into Power BI solutions
- managing, securing, and deploying solutions in Power BI Service
advanced knowledge of:
- data modeling principles and their impact on the correctness and performance of the resulting solution
- optimization possibilities for data models, DAX calculations, and data processing
- security principles and access control in the Power BI environment
