Project description
- creating a roadmap for Operation Support Systems (OSS) with a focus on network inventory for the area of telecommunications and networks
- defining development priorities based on network operations needs, technical teams, and business requirements
- creating and prioritizing tasks, stories, epics, and themes to ensure maximum team efficiency and meet the expectations of business owners
- gathering, analyzing, and processing functional, non-functional, and domain requirements from users and teams (network engineering, network operations, development teams, and other OSS/BSS teams)
- creating analytical documentation, technical specifications, process analyses (BPMN), and state diagrams for the development team
- designing and specifying integrations between OSS systems and other parts of the IT/telco ecosystem (APIs, data flows, automations)
- creating and editing simple scripts for task automation, migration, or data validation
- managing and creating the product backlog and planning iterations
- close cooperation with programmers, vendors, and other departments in designing solution architecture, its configuration, and automation
- active use of AI tools in daily work – e.g., for data analysis, documentation creation, test scenario design, or script writing
- participation in testing implemented solutions
- long-term cooperation in an agile (SCRUM) team
- possible cooperation in a combined ON-SITE and REMOTE mode (with at least two days per week in Bratislava) - depending on the candidate's personal preferences and project needs
Project requirements
- min. 4 years of project experience in the position of Product Owner and/or IT Analyst (ideally both)
- ability to manage system analysis and identify dependencies with constant regard to business requirements
- experience with:
- software development and/or close cooperation with a development team (ideally in the TELCO area)
- network infrastructure management (ideally in the TELCO area)
- creation of use cases, user stories, technical documentation and diagrams (entity-relationship, activity, sequence, state, ...)
- notations (UML, BPMN) and modeling tools (Enterprise Architect, Draw.io, ...)
- agile culture, management styles and methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe, Lean, Kanban, ...)
- project-tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello, ...)
- writing and/or editing scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation, data processing and/or integration
- monitoring of network infrastructure and application performance.
- data analysis and working in SQL databases
- utilizing AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude) for analysis, documentation, script writing and/or testing
- excellent communication skills - written and oral and ability to communicate at multiple levels within the company
- strong facilitation skills (ability to lead meetings, make decisions consensually and plan during them)
- basic knowledge in the field of:
- IT systems architecture
- database, integration and network technologies
- network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, ...)
- network security
- fluent knowledge of Slovak and/or Czech language (spoken and written)
- a big advantage are experiences with:
- development, implementation and/or management of Operation Support Systems (OSS) - e.g., network inventory, service assurance, fault/performance management, provisioning, ...
- the NetBox tool and/or other network inventory solutions
- proactive approach
- problem-solving orientation
- excellent time management
- attention to detail and orientation towards continuous process improvement
