Project description

leading a large-scale enterprise ERP transformation project focused on harmonizing business processes, modernizing technologies, and changing the integration environment
end-to-end responsibility for planning, managing, and successfully delivering the project
coordination of business and IT teams, external delivery partners, and vendors in a complex international environment
close collaboration with senior management and the steering committee
main responsibilities:
- management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, and dependencies
- establishment and management of project governance, reporting, escalations, and decision-making processes
- preparation and presentation of executive status reporting and steering committee
- stakeholder and vendor management including monitoring delivery and commitments of external partners
- coordination of testing, deployment, transition, go-live, and hypercare
- support for change management and stakeholder communication
tech stack / environment: Enterprise ERP, SAP, S/4HANA, Business Transformation, Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid, multinational delivery
collaboration only on a full-time basis is possible in a hybrid mode REMOTE + ONSITE at least 2 days per week in Vienna (or based on further agreement with the client)
final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the progress of the selection process

Project requirements

min. 10 years of experience in Project/Program Management
previous experience in leading a large ERP transformation or enterprise ERP implementation
experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation programs or cloud ERP
experience with:
- end-to-end management of complex transformation projects – scope, budget, timeline, RAID, dependencies and governance
- stakeholder and vendor management including collaboration with senior management / steering committee
- coordination of business, IT and external delivery teams in a complex international environment
- testing, deployment, go-live and transition/hypercare
active knowledge of English language spoken and written
ability to professionally communicate and drive decisions at senior management level and across multiple stakeholders
PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or comparable certification
experience with Agile / Waterfall / hybrid delivery
advantageous:
- knowledge of German language
strong organizational and communication skills
systematic and proactive approach
ability to manage complex environments, priorities and escalations
