Project description
- collaboration in data processing, transformation and analysis on a modern data platform using Python, PySpark and SQL
- tasks and responsibilities:
- development of data solutions in Python / PySpark
- working with large datasets
- creation and optimization of data transformations
- working with SQL / Spark SQL
- support for data pipelines in an enterprise platform
- collaboration with international teams
- data analysis and support for data outputs for business
- participation in the design, implementation and testing of data solutions
- tech stack:
- Python
- PySpark / Apache Spark
- SQL / Spark SQL
- Palantir Foundry
- Spark / Hive / Hadoop
- JavaScript / HTML / CSS – advantageous
- AWS or Azure – advantageous
- agile development methodology [Scrum] supported by DevOps standards
- collaboration is possible in a hybrid mode, ON-SITE 1 day a week [Bratislava], or by agreement on the project / the rest REMOTE
- final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the course of the selection process
Project requirements
- min. 5-year provable project experience with large software or data systems
- advanced knowledge:
- Python
- PySpark
- SQL
- ideally Spark SQL
- experience with Palantir Foundry
- experience with large datasets
- experience with enterprise data platforms
- experience with distributed data processing:
- Spark
- Hive
- Hadoop
- active knowledge of the English language written and spoken (min. B2-C1)
- advantageous:
- experience with AWS or Azure cloud environment
- knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- experience from insurance, or financial sector, or finance function in another industry
- ability to work in a global and multicultural environment
- strong analytical skills
- ability to react flexibly and adapt to change
- proactive approach
