Project description
- Design, development, and maintenance of ETL workflows in a cloud environment
- Development of applications and data pipelines in Python (OOP)
- Design and implementation of relational database schemas
- Working with ETL orchestration tools (AWS Batch, Step Functions, Lambda, Airflow)
- Development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
- Development of containerized applications
- Integration of internal systems with external platforms via APIs
- Collaboration with business and research teams on the design of technical solutions
Project requirements
- Advanced experience with:
- Python (OOP) – min. 3 years
- Design, development, and maintenance of ETL workflows
- Databricks or cloud-native technologies
- AWS Batch, AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda, or Apache Airflow
- Design of relational database schemas in PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
- Experience with:
- AWS (EC2, S3, Athena)
- GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD solutions
- Docker or other containerization technologies
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Development of REST or GraphQL APIs
- Advanced knowledge of:
- English language
- Solving technical problems
- Collaboration in an international team
- Knowledge of:
- Design of modular production workflows
- Integration of third-party systems via APIs
- Advantageous:
- Streamlit, R Shiny, React, or other frontend frameworks
- Development of HPC or computationally intensive data tasks
- Kubernetes and Helm
- Robot Framework or Selenium
- Bioinformatics workflows (*omics data)
- Elasticsearch or other NoSQL databases
- Building and troubleshooting C/C++ libraries on Linux
