Project description
- architecture and design: design and development of enterprise Salesforce solutions across the platform, mainly in the areas of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud, with an emphasis on scalability, security, and long-term sustainability
- technical solution design: transformation of business requirements into a technical design, data model, integration architecture, and specific Salesforce components
- development and customization: design and development of advanced Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning/LWC, Flows, and other native capabilities of the Salesforce platform
- integrations: design and implementation of complex Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems through REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce API, and middleware solutions, especially MuleSoft
- API and middleware management: design of integration interfaces and integration patterns for communication between Salesforce and enterprise systems, including real-time, batch, and event-driven integrations
- enterprise implementations: technical leadership of Salesforce implementations from design and development to deployment, testing, optimization, and subsequent support
- client collaboration: communication with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams, requirement analysis, and presentation of suitable technical solutions
- technical leadership: providing technical direction to development and integration teams, code reviews, and oversight of adherence to Salesforce best practices and development standards
- quality and optimization: ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of Salesforce solutions, including Apex code optimization and respect for Salesforce Governor Limits
- innovation: monitoring the development of the Salesforce ecosystem, cloud technologies, automation, and AI functionalities, and identifying their suitable use in an enterprise environment
- collaboration only on a full-time basis possible in a 100% REMOTE mode (with occasional ad-hoc onsite in Germany)
- final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the course of the selection process
Project requirements
- min. 3 years of demonstrable experience with enterprise Salesforce CRM implementations, ideally in large or international environments
- strong practical experience with the Salesforce platform and multiple clouds, especially:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Marketing Cloud / marketing Salesforce solutions
- Experience Cloud
- advanced knowledge of Apex and Visualforce, including custom development, triggers, and asynchronous processing
- experience with:
- Lightning Components / LWC, Salesforce Flows and declarative Salesforce development
- design of scalable Salesforce architectures, data models, objects, relationships, and integration solutions
- API management and middleware platforms, with MuleSoft expertise being a significant requirement
- very good knowledge of Salesforce API, REST/SOAP web services, and system integrations
- knowledge of enterprise integration principles and patterns – real-time, batch, asynchronous, and event-driven integrations
- ability to design efficient and maintainable Apex code with regard to Governor Limits, performance, and Salesforce best practices
- knowledge of the Salesforce security model, access rights, sharing rules, role hierarchy, and field-level security
- experience with the entire Salesforce solution lifecycle – analysis, architecture/design, development, testing, deployment, and optimization
- ability to communicate technical solutions to clients and collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders
- active knowledge of the English language (min. B2-C1)
- knowledge of German language is an advantage
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive and independent approach
- flexibility and ability to adapt to changing requirements
- excellent communication skills and ability for effective teamwork
