Project description

  • cooperation on an international SAP integration project
  • design, development, and further development of integration solutions
  • integration of SAP and non-SAP enterprise systems
  • work with the SAP Integration Suite / SAP Cloud Integration platform
  • implementation and maintenance of integration flows - iFlows
  • integration via REST, SOAP, IDoc, SFTP, and other integration mechanisms
  • design of data mappings and transformations
  • resolution of security and authentication of integration interfaces
  • monitoring and troubleshooting of existing integrations
  • testing of integration scenarios
  • creation and maintenance of technical documentation
  • cooperation with developers, SAP consultants, architects, business, and other stakeholders
  • communication with the customer in German
     
  • tasks and responsibilities:
    • design and implementation of integration solutions in SAP Integration Suite
    • hands-on development in SAP Cloud Integration / SAP CPI
    • design, development, and configuration of Integration Flows (iFlows)
    • analysis of integration requirements and design of a suitable technical solution
    • design of integration contracts between SAP and external systems
    • implementation of synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios
    • configuration and use of integration adapters
    • implementation of REST API / HTTP integration interfaces
    • implementation of SOAP Web Services
    • integration via IDoc
    • implementation of SFTP / File-based integrations
    • work with XML, JSON and other data formats
    • design and implementation of data mapping and transformations
    • message mapping and content-based transformations
    • implementation of routing, filtering, and orchestration logic
    • work with integration headers, properties, and message payloads
    • implementation of custom integration logic as per project needs
    • monitoring of integration flows and message processing
    • analysis and resolution of integration errors
    • design of error handling, exception handling, and retry mechanisms
    • troubleshooting of production integration incidents
    • analysis of logs and message processing
    • testing of individual integration interfaces and end-to-end scenarios
    • performance analysis and optimization of integration flows
    • work with security mechanisms, certificates, and authentication
    • preparation and updating of technical and integration documentation
    • support for deployment and transport of integration solutions between environments
    • cooperation with enterprise/SAP architects and other integration teams
       
  • cooperation possible in a fully REMOTE mode (within the European time zone)
  • onboarding and business trips to Germany
  • final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the course of the selection process

Project requirements

  • min. 3-year practical experience as SAP Integration Consultant / SAP Cloud Integration Developer
  • several years of practical experience with SAP integrations
  • hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite
  • very good practical knowledge of SAP Cloud Integration / SAP CPI
  • experience with the design and implementation of iFlows
  • ability to independently design an integration solution based on business/technical requirements
  • practical experience with integration patterns and enterprise integration architecture
  • experience with at least the main integration technologies:
    • REST / REST API
    • SOAP / Web Services
    • IDoc
    • SFTP / File Interfaces
  • very good orientation in data formats:
    • XML
    • JSON
  • practical experience with data mapping and transformations
  • experience with:
    • message mapping and payload transformations
    • configuration and use of SAP CPI adapters
    • monitoring of integration processes
    • error handling and troubleshooting
    • interface / integration testing
  • ability to analyze integration logs and identify the root cause of a problem
  • basic orientation in integration security:
    • certificates / keys
    • Basic Authentication
    • OAuth 2.0
    • SSL/TLS
  • experience with the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
  • ability to independently communicate technical topics with the customer
     
  • active knowledge of the German language on a professional level, spoken and written (min. B2)
  • active knowledge of the English language on a professional level, spoken and written (min. B2 - C1)
