Project description
- coordination of one or more Scrum teams and introduction of agile methods and techniques (e.g. product backlog grooming, PI planning, daily stand-up, demo, retrospective...) and team leadership in their use in the insurance industry
- coaching and mentoring of the team in the field of agile standards and best practice (Scrum, Kanban), self-organization; training the team if necessary
- configuring and maintaining the tools necessary for agile delivery management and creating the necessary documentation
- close cooperation with stakeholders, suppliers and Product Owner in preparing and clarifying the product backlog
- helping the Product Owner and the team achieve customer satisfaction
- preparation of reports regarding team performance and capacity, backlog, different types of user stories, etc.
- monitoring the team using agile practices, analyzing the team's performance and proposing improvements
- solving conflicts and problems, helping the team to deal with them in an appropriate way and trying to prevent potential tension in the future; building a safe environment that is built on trust
- ensuring the preparation of project documentation, managing project escalations, inter-project dependencies and proactive communication with projects across the organization (agile, waterfall)
- active cooperation and communication within the entire organization when covering certain types of projects
- cooperation possible in a hybrid ON-SITE / REMOTE mode, preferably at least 2-3 days a week on-site [Bratislava], the rest remote (or by agreement according to the current situation on the project)
- the final reward depends on the experience of the candidate and the progress of the selection process
Project requirements
- min. 3 years of project experience as a Scrum Master in the financial sector (insurance or banking)
- advanced experience with:
- agile practices using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or LeSS (min. 3 years)
- coordinating a team of 10 or more people
- strong communication and interpersonal skills, team leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution skills
- ability to communicate with top management, understanding of business, IT process and organization
- demonstrable skills in stakeholder management
- experience in the financial sphere (insurance or banking)
- advanced knowledge:
- Agile Manifesto
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- DevOps
- project-tracking tools ( JIRA , Confluence, ...)
- certificates are an advantage :
- CSM (Certified Scrum Master)
- CSP (Certified Scrum Professional)
- CSPO (Certified Product Owner)
- Prince2
- or equivalent
- fluent knowledge of the Slovak or Czech language, spoken and written
- Fluency in spoken and written English (min. B2-C1)
- open to new ideas and visions
