Project description
- collaboration on functional support, stabilization, and further development of the existing SAP FPSL solution
- acting as a senior functional expert and advisor to the internal Business team
- provide expert consultations in the area of banking products, accounting, and financial reporting, and collaborate with IT teams, SAP Fioneer, and external implementation partners, accounting, and financial reporting, and collaborate with IT teams, SAP Fioneer, and external implementation partners
- an important part of the project is the ability to bring practical experience from SAP FPSL implementations in multiple European banks, independently analyze complex functional problems, and propose sustainable solutions
- responsibilities:
- providing senior business and functional support in the SAP FPSL environment
- analysis and resolution of complex functional problems related to banking and accounting processes
- consultation and design of functional solutions in the area of Financial Products Subledger
- analysis of business requirements and their transformation into SAP FPSL functional concepts
- preparation and validation of functional requirements and specifications
- assessment of existing FPSL processes, configurations, and implemented solutions
- identification of functional gaps and proposal of improvements
- expert support during implementations, migrations, upgrades, and transformation projects
- analysis of data processing results in SAP FPSL
- resolution of topics related to reconciliation between individual accounting and data systems
- support of accounting processes and financial reporting
- design and validation of test scenarios
- support of functional, integration, and acceptance testing
- analysis of defects and proposal of corrective measures
- collaboration in the stabilization of the productive SAP FPSL environment
- analysis and resolution of production incidents from a functional perspective
- consultations on possibilities, limitations, and recommended practices when using SAP FPSL
- communication with the internal Business team, Finance/Accounting, IT, and SAP Fioneer
- coordination of functional topics with external implementation partners
- assessment of proposed solutions and provision of independent expert recommendations
- documentation of functional decisions, findings, and recommendations
- knowledge transfer and expert mentoring of the internal team
- sharing experience and best practices from previous European banking implementations
- collaboration possible in ON-SITE mode (Vienna or Bratislava)
- final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the course of the selection process
Project requirements
- min. 5 years of practical experience with SAP Financial Products Subledger (SAP FPSL)
- demonstrable experience with SAP FPSL in the banking sector
- experience with:
- implementations or development of SAP FPSL in multiple European banks or banking groups
- current or recent versions of SAP FPSL
- productive SAP FPSL environment
- design and validation of functional specifications
- analysis of accounting data and processing results in FPSL
- reconciliation and resolving accounting discrepancies
- functional testing and defect analysis
- very good knowledge of SAP FPSL functional capabilities and processes
- ability to independently analyze complex business and functional requirements
- knowledge of banking products and related accounting processes
- very good understanding of banking accounting / financial accounting
- knowledge of the product and implementation environment of SAP Fioneer
- understanding of cooperation, delivery, and support methods from SAP Fioneer
- ability to collaborate with Business, Finance, IT, and external suppliers
- ability to independently assess and recommend functional solutions
- experience in providing senior functional consulting
- ability to explain complex FPSL concepts and transfer knowledge to the internal team
- experience with technical or functional documentation
- active knowledge of the English language, spoken and written (min. B2-C1)
- advantageous:
- knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance
- experience with integration of SAP FPSL and General Ledger
- experience with SAP FSDM (Financial Services Data Management)
- knowledge of banking data flows and integration processes
- experience with SAP FPSL implementations in various banking groups
- experience with SAP FPSL migration or upgrade
- experience with transformation programs in banking
- knowledge of IFRS 9
- experience with Multi-GAAP Accounting
- knowledge of banking regulatory reporting
- experience with complex financial products
- knowledge of financial closing processes
- experience with data quality and accounting control
- knowledge of SAP HANA or SQL from a data analysis perspective
- experience with end-to-end accounting processes
- experience with audit and regulatory compliance
- experience with external implementation partners
- previous direct cooperation with SAP Fioneer
- German language
