Project description
- unique opportunity to lead the operations and delivery of a cutting-edge international Live & VOD streaming platform of the new generation
- managing operations, stability, and high availability in a dynamic multi-vendor environment with connections to key international partners
- bridging business and IT teams, technical analysis of system behavior, and working with monitoring and observability tools
- complete ownership of the service delivery lifecycle and setting up the operational model including processes, SLAs, and reporting structures
- Recovery Manager role for critical incidents with 24/7/365 availability
- in-depth technical analysis of incidents, root cause analysis (RCA), and anomaly detection using logs and dashboards
- analysis of network traffic, client devices, and calls via REST API
- monitoring the behavior of infrastructure including Kubernetes, SQL, noSQL, RDS, ProxySQL, Percona, ScyllaDB, RabbitMQ, Varnish, and ElasticSearch
- collaboration with development teams to ensure operational readiness, monitoring, and alerting
- managing budgets, cost-effectiveness, project risks, and regular service reviews
- collaboration in a 5-day onsite (Prague) mode during onboarding, and then 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Project requirements
- advanced experience with:
- at least 5 years of experience as a service delivery manager or operations lead on medium and large projects
- managing and coordinating multi-vendor and international supplier teams
- technical analysis of incidents and working with monitoring and observability tools
- advanced knowledge of:
- English at an advanced level, both spoken and written
- principles of ITIL, incident and problem management, and SLA setting
- knowledge of:
- infrastructure and technologies such as Kubernetes, REST API, SQL, noSQL, RabbitMQ, Varnish, or ElasticSearch
- fluent Czech, both spoken and written
- advantageous:
- domain experience in video streaming, digital media, or telecommunications
- experience with Azure DevOps as an ITSM tool - a big advantage
- certification in ITIL methodology
- willingness to travel on business
