Project description

collaboration on development, modification, and enhancement of various ServiceNow platform features based on approved solution designs, in accordance with platform best practices, especially in the areas of:
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Customer Service Management (CSM)
- Field Service Management (FSM)
- Custom applications, FlowDesigner, and IntegrationHub
- Service Portal and UI Builder
- other custom applications and ServiceNow modules
scripting and automation through Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs, UI Policies, and related components
implementation of clean and maintainable JavaScript code in accordance with SOLID principles, development standards, and platform performance requirements
independent responsibility for the implementation of assigned tasks, including code structure, testing strategy, and deployment readiness
creation and maintenance of integrations with external systems (e.g., Azure API Management, SnapLogic, SAP, Azure Blob Storage)
participation in the implementation of:
- REST/SOAP API, authentication mechanisms, and data contracts (payload contracts)
- Import Sets / Transform Maps, imports, mappings, normalization, and data reconciliation
- robust integrations including logging, retries, error handling, compensation mechanisms, and operation traceability
analysis and resolution of incidents and problems, including log analysis, data flow tracing, and root cause identification
collaboration is carried out in a 100% REMOTE mode

Project requirements

minimum 3 years of project experience with the ServiceNow platform
experience with:
- programming in JavaScript and adherence to SOLID principles
- implementing REST/SOAP API and authentication patterns
- data import, mapping, and normalization
- designing robust integrations including logging and error handling
- incident resolution and root cause analysis
knowledge of:
- scripting and automation (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs, UI Policies)
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Customer Service Management (CSM)
- Field Service Management (FSM)
- ServiceNow components and tools (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal, UI Builder etc.)
advantageous:
- knowledge of TypeScript
- experience with code reviews
- knowledge of security, performance optimization and scalability principles of the ServiceNow platform
- experience with identifying technical debt, refactoring and optimizing existing solutions
- understanding of technical governance and adherence to architectural standards
fluent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)
autonomy, responsibility for assigned tasks
analytical thinking and the ability to systematically solve technical problems
