architectural cooperation on the analysis, design, optimization, development, integration, and implementation of banking solutions with a focus on payment gateways
close cooperation with the product owner, business analysis, and development team in refining functional and non-functional requirements
creation and maintenance of technical/implementation standards and procedures and ensuring their compliance
transformation of business requirements into an implementation specification in accordance with regulatory and security requirements
specification of non-functional requirements, design of patterns and hardware requirements
creation and maintenance of architecture diagrams and technical documentation of the entire solution
participation in the analysis and evaluation of third-party integrations and the design of solutions for creating new or modifying existing solutions
cooperation in the analysis of technical debt topics and design of solutions for removing technical debt to meet product quality requirements
ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of IT systems through proper design and implementation
evaluation of risks and security vulnerabilities within the IT architecture
possible long-term cooperation in an international agile team
cooperation possible in a hybrid ON-SITE (Bratislava) and REMOTE setup (approximately 50:50 - depending on candidate preferences and project requirements)

Project requirements

min. 5 years’ project experience as a Solution, Business and/or IT Architect (ideally in the banking sector)
advanced knowledge in the design of payment gateways and/or payment systems
experience with:
- IT design and/or system architecture design
- notations (BPMN, UML) and modeling tools (Enterprise Architect, BizzDesign, Draw.io...)
- development of use cases, prototyping, and creation of user stories, ideally in an agile environment
- Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
ability to professionally communicate with management, managers, and experts in individual areas (min. in English - spoken and written)

highly advantageous experience with:
- payment gateway design
- cloud solutions

problem-solving orientation
excellent analytical, technical, and decision-making skills
very good communication and presentation skills
independence
