Project description
- building a modern platform for risk calculations and market data management within an extensive multi-year project in a cloud native architecture
- working in an agile team focused on functional and technical testing of microservices, data cleansing, and interface integration for computational systems
- utilizing technologies such as Python, SQL, Linux, and working in GCP, OpenShift, or Redis environments
- ensuring high reliability, scalability, and throughput of the system for critical financial operations
- collaboration in a 50% onsite in Prague and 50% remote mode
Project requirements
- at least 2 years of commercial experience in software testing
- demonstrable experience with backend automation in Python (API / service-level testing)
- advanced knowledge of:
- SQL for working with databases
- Linux and command-line work
- testing REST API and/or gRPC
- familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker / OpenShift / Kubernetes)
- testing in microservices or distributed systems environments
- knowledge of:
- English language at a level for fluent professional communication
- Git or GitHub, Jira, and X-Ray
- advantageous:
- basic understanding of financial markets (bonds, stocks, derivatives)
- experience with cloud technologies (GCP, ArgoCD)
- working with Grafana, PostgreSQL, or Redis tools
