returning the project "on track" in order to successfully test the project
very quick orientation in the circumstances and project situation (relations between team members, technical background and importance of the project, ...)
quick understanding of the context and relationships within the project
defining a clear and team-accepted project procedure / steps in order to deliver a tested version of the solution by a specified date
regular daily communication with team members and external suppliers to ensure that each team member understands a clearly agreed procedure, steps and their fulfillment with a clear and common goal : to deliver a functional and presentable solution in the next release
elimination of team conflicts based on frequent debates and discussions about the correctness of procedures, architecture and solutions
ensuring a clear team agreement on the final solution needed to test the solution within set milestones
continuous quality control of the entire testing process, adherence to the methodology and design of appropriate ways to address the identified deficiencies
providing test documentation for management and customer needs
coordination of the work entrusted to the test team as well as the test teams of subcontractors
cooperation with other roles that perform related activities (IT development, IT architecture, IT Operation, Business) so as to ensure continuity of activities
responsibility for managing defect resolution throughout its life cycle from commissioning to defect resolution and closure
responsibility for the condition that the entered defects are sufficiently specified, correctly categorized and prioritized
responsibility for monitoring the status of implementation of markers and planning their deployment to the relevant test environment until deployment to production operation
responsibility for monitoring the state of fixation of fixes between test environments and initiating testing of fixes on individual environments
communication with the bank's top management and reporting the status of the project stream to stakeholders (the bank's board of directors)
identification of project problems and risks
escalation of problems in the entrusted area
preferred SETUP: full-time onsite Bratislava
possible SETUP: 3 days / week ON-SITE: Bratislava + 2 day / week HOME-OFFICE

Project requirements

min. 5 years of experience in the position of Test Manager and / or with the management of IT (SW development) projects and their testing
advanced experience in managing international projects in the role of Test Manager and / or Project Manager
experience with:
- defining the testing strategy, test plans and testing methodology of the entrusted projects
- solving crisis situations and situations within the project
- communication within a non-united team
- by quickly identifying problems and defining steps to eliminate them
- coordinating the preparation and implementation of testing
- using testing and defect management tools
- reporting to the company's board of directors and / or top management
knowledge of software development life cycle
very good organizational and communication skills
practical knowledge of SW testing methodology
knowledge:
- testing process and testing methods (integration testing, UAT testing, ...)
- standard test documentation ( strategy , plan , reporting , defect management )
- English language at the active level (verbally and in writing)
big advantage:
- experience in managing projects aimed at replacing core banking systems and / or experience in implementing Temenos T24
- banking experience and knowledge of banking processes and products
advantage of experience:
- with the leadership of the offshore team
- with the direct management of a team of 20+ people
- in the field of project management at regional level within the EU
advantage: certification in the field of testing (eg ISTQB )
