Project description

support of a strategic integration project in Asset Management focused on the replacement of key investment systems and migration to a new target architecture
responsibility for setting up and coordinating the testing process across business and IT streams during a complex transformation initiative
design, creation, and ongoing updating of the test strategy, test concept, and test governance
coordination of testing activities in cooperation with business teams, IT, project management, and external suppliers
ensuring readiness of test environments, test data, users, permissions, and all dependencies before individual test phases
management and coordination of system, integration, user acceptance, regression, migration, parallel run, and cutover testing
ensuring a transparent defect management process and monitoring of testing progress
preparation of regular reporting on the status of testing, risks, dependencies, and readiness of individual project phases
emphasis on auditability of documentation, standardization of testing processes, and quality of outputs
main responsibilities:
- creation and management of test strategy, test concept, and integrated test plan
- definition of test levels, types of testing, roles, responsibilities, entry, and exit criteria
- preparation and structuring of test scenarios based on business requirements, process documentation, solution designs, and migration requirements
- coordination of preparation and execution of SIT, UAT, regression, migration, parallel run, and cutover testing
- recording, prioritizing, and coordinating defect resolution in the JIRA environment
- organization of test readiness, defect review, status, and acceptance meetings
- monitoring of testing progress, identification of risks and dependencies, and their escalation
- preparation of test closure reports and documentation for Go/No-Go decisions
- close cooperation with business, IT teams, project management, and other stakeholders

the final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the course of the selection process

Project requirements

min. 5 years of project experience in the position of Test Manager, Test Lead or a similar position in the field of test management
demonstrable experience with:
- designing test strategies and test concepts
- managing system (SIT), user acceptance (UAT), migration, regression, and cutover testing
- coordinating testing in complex IT transformation or migration projects
- preparing test plans, test scenarios, and test reporting
- managing the defect management process
- working in the JIRA and Confluence environment
- coordinating test environments, test data, and readiness of individual test phases
- communicating with business stakeholders, project management, and technical teams
advantageous experience with projects in the area of:
- Asset Management or financial services
- core system replacement or system migrations
- data migration
- post-merger integrations, carve-out or TSA Exit projects
- regulatory requirements in the financial sector
active knowledge of English (C1)
knowledge of German or Polish is an advantage
ability to independently lead testing activities and coordinate multiple teams
excellent organizational and communication skills
analytical thinking and attention to detail
ability to identify risks and effectively manage dependencies
emphasis on quality, transparency, and auditability of project outputs
