- TikTok API integration

- scraping TikTok web endpoints and pages
- scraper design, development, and maintenance
- handling changes in website structure and API endpoints
- adapting scrapers to platform changes and anti-bot mechanisms
- normalization and transformation of acquired data
- internal API design and implementation
- data pipeline creation and maintenance
- scraper and data process monitoring
- monitoring the quality, consistency, and completeness of acquired data
- debugging and fixing non-functional scrapers
- optimizing the performance of scraping solutions
- optimizing infrastructure and operational costs
- designing solutions for stable and long-term scraper operation
- collaboration with data and backend teams
- integrating acquired data into products and analytics
- collaboration takes place in a 100% REMOTE mode
Project requirements
- min. 3 years of experience with API integrations, web scraping, or data acquisition from dynamically changing web platforms
- ability to:
- work with a dynamically changing web platform
- respond to changes in endpoints, DOM, and data structures
- design a scraper as a long-term maintainable and monitored system
- resolve data quality and inconsistencies
- experience with:
- API integrations
