Detaily projektu

  • develop and manage Power BI Desktop Visualizations and related dashboarding components (Filters, Bookmarking, Interactions, RLS, etc.)
  • understand and apply Power BI Data Modeling and associated best practices
  • work with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, map gateways & administrate Power BI Service, permissions, workspaces
  • develop embedded Power BI solutions
  • integrate new technologies proactively for more advanced analytics including PowerApps and Power Automate
  • respond to design feasibility questions, quickly turning out proof of concepts where custom work is needed
  • connect to external APIs through Power BI to access/integrate with external systems (i.e. Power BI REST APIs)
  • understand and apply Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Nuances and ETL concepts and proactively contribute to the overall design
  • oversee Quality check and review the outputs against quality standards and continually look for Performance improvements
  • design visualizations as per business requirements and apply knowledge on user interface and user experience
  • contribute to and execute against a Power BI design template

Požiadavky projektu

  • proficient with development experience with all Power BI Desktop Visualizations and related dashboarding components
  • proficient with development experience constructing complex DAX measures for visualization
  • 3+ years of experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
  • ability to work in Power Query Editor and M Code
  • basic understanding of Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Nuances and ETL concepts
  • ability to read and construct basic SQL statements for reporting
  • ability to consume large data sets for reporting and be able to confidently process them as per requirements
  • experience with wireframing and prototyping visualizations and reporting dashboards
  • prior Tableau development and converting Tableau to Power BI report experience is a plus
  • very good communication skills - be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams
