Project description
- overall management and content direction of the DX PoC platform
- defining the target vision, hypotheses, success criteria, and AI value measurement model
- selection and onboarding of pilot development teams
- defining metrics for AI adoption, usage intensity, time savings, lead times, and quality
- creation of an ROI model against the license and operational costs of AI tools
- coordination of DX integration with GitLab, CI/CD, ticketing, and identity/SSO systems
- coordination of telemetry data connection from AI tools, e.g., GitHub Copilot
- configuration of teams, hierarchies, and the data model in DX
- setting up the AI Measurement Framework, including surveys and system data collection
- preparation of baseline measurements before and after expanding the use of AI
- analysis of AI's impact on change failure rate, review effort, rework, and security findings
- evaluating the separate impact of AI on speed, quality, and developer satisfaction
- identifying barriers to AI tool adoption
- proposal of enablement and adoption measures
- coordination of requirements for anonymization, data protection, and codetermination
- design of data minimization, aggregation thresholds, roles, and permission model
- ensuring the separation of AI measurement from individual performance measurement
- coordination of engineering management, AI/platform owners, security, data protection, works council, procurement, and vendors
- management of scope, schedule, and budget of the PoC
- evaluation and interpretation of PoC results
- preparation of a decision-making basis for further scaling of AI tools and licensing strategy
Project requirements
-
min. 5 years of project experience in IT Project Management, ideally in AI transformation projects
- ability to define an AI value model and measurable success criteria
- ability to work with data, evaluate it and interpret results
- technical understanding of software development and CI/CD processes
- ability to coordinate engineering, AI, security, compliance, and business teams
- experience in managing scope, timeline, and budget
- ability to prepare management decision proposals based on data
- English at a professional level
- experience with:
- managing IT projects and PoCs
- DevOps and software development environments
- AI enablement and the introduction of AI tools into development
- GitLab and CI/CD environments
- GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools
- defining KPIs, metrics, and measurement frameworks
- analysis of adoption and usage data
- evaluating business value and ROI
- engineering productivity / developer experience metrics
- stakeholder management in technical projects
- data protection, compliance, and permission models
- advantageous experience with:
- DX or similar Developer Experience / engineering analytics platforms
- GitHub Copilot telemetry and usage analytics
- AI coding agents
- AI-assisted code reviews
- DORA and engineering productivity metrics
- AI governance
- employee data protection / works council requirements
- scaling strategies and license management of AI tools
- autonomy and ownership
- analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
