Project description
- manual testing of new ViralVue builds
- systematic bug and edge case finding
- testing new features before production release
- testing closed beta features
- regression testing of existing functionality
- testing integrations between individual systems
- testing existing automations
- testing ViralVue web application and Chrome Extension
- testing URLVue and mobile applications as needed
- reproducing and documenting found problems in detail
- analyzing the conditions under which a problem occurs
- identifying whether the problem relates to the frontend, backend, or data layer
- providing technical information to developers needed for quick problem resolution
- bug fixing of simpler technical problems
- designing and implementing automated tests
- creating and developing internal QA and testing tools
- developing test automation
- creating internal development tools
- preparing and maintaining regression tests
- testing before production release
- collaborating with developers in analyzing and resolving found problems
- documenting testing procedures and QA processes
- identifying opportunities to improve internal testing processes
- collaboration takes place in a 100% REMOTE mode
Project requirements
- min. 3 years of experience in QA / software testing and technical analysis of web applications
- ability to:
- systematically find and reproduce a technical problem
- determine the conditions under which a bug occurs
- distinguish between frontend, backend, and data problems
- create a high-quality technical bug report
- effectively communicate technical findings to developers
- experience with:
- manual testing of web applications
- regression testing
- testing new features and release processes
- bug reporting and problem reproduction
- testing integrations and APIs
- debugging technical problems
- test automation
- automated tests
- basic analysis of frontend/backend/data problems
- advantageous to have experience with:
- Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar automation frameworks
- TypeScript / JavaScript
- API testing and REST API
- Chrome Extensions testing
- browser automation
- CI/CD test automation
- mobile application testing
