Project description
- Development of a modern data platform for a unified view of the customer (Customer 360) in the field of digital commerce
- Building self-service analytical tools that shorten the time from data to decision for dozens of internal stakeholders across Europe
- Design, development and optimization of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes in Snowflake
- Implementation of dimensional data models and star/snowflake schemas for effective reporting
- Creation of interactive data applications and dashboards in Streamlit
- Scripting in Python for data transformation and automation tasks
- Close cooperation with data analysts, architects, and business experts on converting requirements into technical solutions
- Monitoring of data quality and performance, management of documentation and versioning, and adherence to the principles of Data governance
- Collaboration takes place fully remotely within the EU, without the need for onsite work
Project requirements
- Advanced experience with:
- Snowflake – data loading, transformation, performance tuning, security, stored procedures and tasks (at least 5 years)
- design and optimization of ETL pipelines in cloud DWH environments (at least 5 years)
- Python for data engineering and automation (at least 5 years)
- Experience with:
- Streamlit – development and deployment of internal data applications
- CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps) and code versioning
- monitoring and performance tuning of data processes
- Advanced knowledge of:
- SQL and performance tuning in large-scale environments
- dimensional modeling (star / snowflake schema, SCD)
- English language at B2 level and higher for daily communication
- Knowledge of:
- Data governance and documentation of data flows
- principles of security and access management in DWH
- agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Advantage:
- pipeline orchestration in Airflow or dbt
- experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- experience in Customer 360 or marketing data projects
