Project description
- development and management of key components of an established bank with a focus on payment services
- collaboration in a smaller agile team operating on DevOps principles
- design and implementation of microservice solutions using modern technologies in the Java 17 and Spring Boot environment
- creation and maintenance of unit tests, involvement in the code review process and support for code quality
- involvement in the CI/CD pipeline and operational activities in the role of DevOps developer
- collaboration with analysts, architects and other developers on the effective design and development of the system
- collaboration takes place in 50% onsite Prague and 50% remote mode
Project requirements
- at least 5 years of experience with Java development
- advanced experience with:
- Java 17, Spring Boot
- designing and developing solutions in microservice architecture
- creating unit tests and code review
- DevOps activities including tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD or Kubernetes
- experience with:
- PostgreSQL and database development
- communication and integration patterns
- designing and optimizing SW architecture
- messaging (e.g. Artemis, Kafka)
- agile development methodologies (SCRUM)
- advanced knowledge of:
- technical English for reading and writing documentation and technical communication
- advantage:
- broader experience with DevOps tools (e.g. UCD, Docker)
- experience in the field of banking or financial systems
