Project description
- increasing stability, robustness, and maintainability of existing Python applications
- design and implementation of automated testing strategy
- creation of Unit, Integration, and Performance tests
- testing services against mocked and real external APIs
- identifying and eliminating bugs, edge cases, and reliability problems
- code reviews, refactoring, and application of development best practices
- support and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- development and maintenance of FastAPI services
- development and maintenance of Python-based Kubernetes CronJobs
- debugging and troubleshooting of application problems
- collaboration on increasing the quality and long-term maintainability of the codebase
- collaboration takes place in a 100% REMOTE mode
Project requirements
- min. 4-year project experience with Python development
- good understanding of software quality and robustness principles
- ability to analyze existing code and identify potential problems
- ability to work with code created by other developers
- focus on stability and long-term maintainability of solutions
- excellent knowledge of:
- Python
- FastAPI
- REST API
- experience with:
- Pytest
- Unit Testing
- Integration Testing
- FastAPI
- debugging and troubleshooting
- code reviews and refactoring
- design of automated tests
- active knowledge of English at a professional level (min. B2-C1)
- advantageous experience with:
- Kubernetes
- Kubernetes CronJobs
- Performance / Load Testing
- Locust or k6
