Project description
- development and long-term maintenance of robust backend services built on Java / Spring Boot
- implementation and expansion of modern front-end parts of applications in Angular / TypeScript with an emphasis on UX
- design, implementation and clear documentation of REST API for effective system integration
- integration of heterogeneous systems through messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ) with an emphasis on reliability and scalability
- design, optimization and maintenance of database objects in PostgreSQL for high performance and stability
- optimization of SQL queries, working with transactions and indexes to improve application performance and response
- versioning and management of database schemas using Liquibase in accordance with best practices
- automated deployment of applications to the Kubernetes environment via GitLab CI/CD pipeline
- resolution of production incidents, analysis and systematic optimization of application performance
- close cooperation with business analysts, product owner and internal customers in the delivery of solutions
- active participation in code review and co-responsibility for the technical quality, maintainability and code cleanliness
- cooperation takes place in a combined ON-SITE / REMOTE mode (2 days a week ON-SITE)
Project requirements
- min. 5 years of active experience with JAVA programming (ideally in combination with Spring Boot)
- min. 3 years of active experience with front-end application programming (ideally in Angular 16+)
- excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming principles (OOP)
- advanced experience with:
- Java and Spring Boot framework (REST, JPA/Hibernate, Security, AOP, exception handling)
- microservices (Docker, Kubernetes)
- SQL databases (PostgreSQL)
- Angular and TypeScript (components, forms, RxJS)
- integration technologies (REST API, messaging – Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- DB change management (Liquibase or equivalent)
- GitLab CI/CD (builds, deployment pipeline)

- experience with monitoring and logging applications
- knowledge of cloud-native principles
- knowledge of English language at a conversational level (spoken and written)
- experience with some of the agile software development methods (SCRUM, LEAN and/or KANBAN)
