Project description

development and expansion of advanced automated testing systems for highly available and critical trading applications in FX
close team collaboration with developers, product managers, and infrastructure to ensure maximum reliability and performance of back-end platforms
working with technologies focused on Java, messaging, and event-driven architectures in demanding testing scenarios
creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test scenarios across the entire software development lifecycle
execution and analysis of automated and manual test runs, bug identification, and risk assessment
maintenance of test code to ensure it remains long-term readable, reliable, and sustainable
participation in design discussions from a quality perspective and providing input for release sign-off
collaboration in a 1-2 times per week onsite in Prague, rest remote

Project requirements

advanced experience with:
- at least 5 years of experience in automated testing with a focus on Java
- development and design of test automation frameworks for multi-layered enterprise systems
- testing back-end platforms, messaging or event-driven components
experience with:
- CI/CD tools and code management such as Git, TeamCity or GitLab
- relational databases and data-driven testing
- Python or Bash scripting languages
advanced knowledge of:
- completion of automated tests (component, integration, regression, and end-to-end)
knowledge of:
- cloud infrastructure and cloud-native testing principles
advantage:
- previous experience with domains such as FX, trading systems, real-time or pricing
