Project description
- the project focuses on ensuring the quality of web, mobile, and backend functionalities through manual and automated testing
- the project also includes the development of mobile testing and automation, ideally using Appium, working with backend APIs, analyzing application logs, and utilizing modern tools including AI-assisted testing
- tasks and responsibilities:
- ensuring the quality of the digital banking platform George
- design, preparation, and execution of manual and automated tests
- creation and maintenance of test scenarios and test cases
- testing new functionalities of mobile and backend applications
- execution of Mobile Application Testing for digital banking applications
- design and development of automated tests for mobile applications
- using tools like Appium for mobile testing automation
- testing backend services and APIs
- using Postman or similar tools for API testing
- running and evaluating automated test scripts
- analysis of testing results and identification of software bugs
- analysis of bug causes and collaboration on their resolution
- defect prevention through early risk identification
- using application logs and monitoring tools for problem analysis
- working with Kibana and Grafana tools
- collaboration on improving application test coverage
- utilizing AI tools for bug analysis and test coverage management
- working with test management tools, e.g., Testiny or qTest
- collaboration on automated test execution within CI/CD processes
- working with version control systems, e.g., Git
- collaboration with developers and business analysts throughout the entire User Story lifecycle
- participation in agile ceremonies and planning of testing activities
- ensuring the quality of delivered functionalities at the end of each sprint
- continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and testing procedures
- support for the high quality of user experience of the digital banking platform
- collaboration will take place in a hybrid mode ON-SITE 2 days per week, or as needed by the project [Bratislava and Vienna] / REMOTE [home-office]
Project requirements
- minimum 3-year practical experience with Software Quality Assurance and Software Testing
- good knowledge of QA methodologies, principles and testing processes
- experience with:
- manual testing of software applications
- Test Automation
- testing of backend services and/or mobile applications
- design and preparation of test scenarios and test cases
- using testing and QA tools
- analysis and documentation of software defects
- working in an Agile / Scrum environment
- ability to:
- independently perform and evaluate tests
- analyze testing results and identify bugs
- independently analyze and solve technical problems
- independently organize and prioritize testing activities
- collaborate with developers and business analysts
- effectively communicate test results and identified problems
- analytical thinking and thoroughness in testing
- knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- knowledge of the English language at an active level (C1)
